WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC) – The West Memphis Police Department has confirmed that a suspect has been identified in last week’s deadly shooting outside the Southland Casino.
Police say a first-degree murder warrant has been issued for a man identified as Travis Boyd.
The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. Friday in the casino’s parking lot, killing the sole victim now identified as Orlando Garza, according to police.
WMPD said this was an isolated shooting.
Investigators are working to determine Boyd’s whereabouts.
