Virginia Tech basketball transfer Heijer Miller has been “permanently dismissed” from the Hokies hoops program.

Before suiting up for Blacksburg for the first time since coming from Temple, Miller was fired due to a match-fixing scandal that occurred during last season while playing for the Owls in the American Athletic Conference. It is reportedly related to Miller's role.
